what an absolute doll!

Not sure I get the college/bird link, though..... are you suggesting I have 30-odd birds because I have four college degrees. Maybe you have found an excuse for my MBS!!

its not that, not many unis allow pets and i only have two unis that i know that if i went there i would be able to keep an IRN and give it the time it needs seeing as i wud commute from home. Should work out tho lol

Aha. And if UK dorms are like those in the US, he would learn all sorts of language you wouldn't want him screaming out in ten years when you are a successful executive! Best of luck.

A blue cutie

Post by Bird crazy »

Are you hoping to get a blue?

I have my Nila and he is such a pretty color, looks the same as the one in your photo.

Hope it goes well for you.

Grey

Post by Bird crazy »

I also have a grey female, Priya and she is beautiful too.

She also is a much more docile bird and larger than Nila.
I think that is probably just her individual traits, not common to all greys IRN. But she is a really sweet, clingy bird. Wants to be on my shoulder all the time.

I have a pastel skyblue and a grey. I think they are both gorgeous colours, and like Sue said my Grey *Silk* is a big goofy, sweetheart. Whereas Pepper the pastel skyblue is a little bit reserved.
There are different shades of grey too, Grey Turquoise, pastel grey, silver (though I saw a silver IRN on the weekend and didn't really like the colour)
