Excuse me all experienced hand rear'ers

this being my first time handrearing. i'm fairly confident i am doing this right, but thought i might post a short video to see what you all think.

he's not taking his full feed, (usually abour 5-7 of the 10mls) and i'm not sure if he's full or not, how do i check his crop?
