Seeds and Nuts

Marty is only about 3 1/2 months, but doesn't have any interest in cracking nuts or even eating them when I shell them. How long before a ringneck is able to shell their nuts and what is their favorite? Are there any nuts or seeds to avoid? Marty eats Zupreem very well and will try a few vegetables -- still prefers his pellets.

Sounds to me like he just doesnt care for them. My baby IRN (9 weeks old) is able to tear open peanuts and loves doing so. He may have a more sopisticated diet such as papaya, she loves that too.
