OMG - I havn't been in for ages ~ Look at Squeak now

I am so sorry, but with RL really taking a hold on me lately I just havn't had a chance to pop in. I was just sitting in front of puter now and thought of you all and the help that you gave me when this beautiful bird was just a little pink horrible thing :lol:

This photo was taken just 5 minutes ago of my baby. I still can't work out if its boy/girl but hopefull Jeremy will pop in and tell me what he thinks (be nice now Jeremy.....lol)

Squeak loves nothing more than being cuddled and loves to hide in my dressing gown. He/she just puts her head down on my shoulder, closes the eyes and goes to sleep :shock:

She loves it....LOL

Here is my baby - isnt she gorgeous??? Look at the colours! There was no flash so it is pretty true colour in the photo.

Mik I promise I will pop in more often. I have been so busy selling on ebay and trying to earn a dollar or two to feed my birdz n kidz...lol

Squeak is just the best companion - He/she is nearly 10 months old now and it has gone so fast. I can remember those first few weeks like it was just yesterday, and I think I am still catching up on lost sleep from then :lol:

This is what you will all remember - and for the new people that have joined since I was last in, I had to hand raise this baby from the day he/she hatched because both parents were not going to feed so I had to

It was every hour and half to two hours for the first few weeks

Very exhausting, but, very rewarding.

It's so good to see you back. Welcome! Squeek is such a big bird now! I love how beautiful s/he has turned out! You should be so very proud! What a great job you've done Mum!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Keep up the great work. And keep posting when you have a minute and can!

I promise that I will post more often from now on. I have had a hell of a few months though.

My baby is just the best bird but OMG :shock:

I couldn't believe it when I found her in the fish bowl. I thought she was gonna take a bath in it :shock:

That would have been the funniest thing to see!

Obviously there are alot of people that wern't here when Squeak was a bubby but what a stressful time it was for all of us! To feed such a tiny critter and have it turn out so beautiful is just so special.

*Squeezes everybody into a group hug* just be careful not to squish Squeak who is under my dressing gown.....lmao

I agree with Dani! Please don't go again for so long. Squeak is such a darling baby now. And it was so cool to watch her grow up! We missed you. I hope your life is calming down and getting back to as normal as possible.

Chamon, since when did Squeak become yours???? If you have him/her you can have all the things that she has chewed up too. Including my puter mouse, usb cords, speaker wire, wallet (empty of course...lol). Really she is a great bird!!

I love it to bits and wouldn't be without her for the world!!!

She aint goin nowhere girly - especially over the Tasman.....LOL

LOL little bugger! Ok since you are so attatched you can keep Squeak.. but I expect more updates and plenty of pics! :wink:

Dats is doing wonderfully, pics and vids to come as soon as my broadband is hooked up. Dial up drives me mad!!!
