I have a male and a female.

Usually their posture and brightness is a very big tip-off as to what sex they are. No one is ever 100% positive, but they're usually right about 90% of the time.

I used to have 14 Green Indian ringnecks, 5 male, 5 female and the rest were to young to tell, this was only two months ago, since then i sold 8 of the older ringnecks, than i sold the ones that were close to a year old to a person that just collected the birds, i only kept 1 pair :? :( now that pair is breeding and i have four chics that are close to 15 days old. :D and growing fine.

Unless I'm badly mistaken, Skitty is a girl, about a year old. Fortunately, if Skitty turns out to be a fella, I don't have to change the name.

I thought I had one male and one female.... but I'm really not sure anymore... it's looking like the DNA testing may have been wrong on both counts... in which case I would still have one male and on female

My 2 year 5 month old (Janey, blue IRN) was DNA sexed as female but it looks like she may be getting a ring. Charlie (1 year old lutino) was DNA sexed as male but is extremely bossy so I'm wondering if he is a she.

Still waiting to see!

Ellie.

At first we (me and my parents) though it was a male... we treat it as one and gave it a male name.
But it actually looks like it's female...
