Nalyn,

Incubation is typically between 22-24 days, give or take a day or two. How long has your hen been actively incubating her clutch?

she has been sitting from the time she laid. she comes out occasionally to feed and mate with the male which is everyday for the last two weeks only in the mornings . if i remove the eggs will she lay again cos last year she laid 6 eggs which i removed after about 40 days and she didn't lay again.

It's getting late in the breeding season in South Africa but she might attempt to lay again if you remove the eggs now. Do you have an idea when she laid the last egg in the clutch?

Then they should have hatched by now but give it an extra day or two.

I just discovered I have two very young chicks with a third unhatched egg so I'm super excited since it's my first ever IRN babies.
