IRN as companion bird with Eclectus

I have an 11-yr. old male Red-Sided Eclectus and thinking about an IRN, but a little afraid he would get jealous of a new addition. We are home most of the day and our Eclectus gets lots of attention and out-of-cage time. Wings are clipped. Do you think he would tolerate an IRN?

it's unpredictable... depends on if the irn annoys him or not
