light ring at 6 weeks ?

light ring at 6 weeks ?
There is a light ring forming around Ernies neck . He's only 6 weeks old. Is this a good indication he's really a " he" or can the females get this too ? Every thing in me thinks he's a boy but I guess we will see !

As exciting as it might be, the rings come in later--roughly 18 months to three years. Even females have a slight ring. My Devri looks as if she has a ring; however, she is a female. Hope this helps!
