Opaline
Can some one please explain the opaline gen? Can the gen miss a generation and come out in their off spring? What mutations does the opaline gen normally come out in?

Opaline is Sex-Linked so it depends if the opaline is a male or female
If male paired to a normal hen
you will get only visual hens and splits in males
if you have a hen opaline you will get no visual opalines but all male chicks split to opaline
so yes you will miss a turn with an opaline hen
It works the same as pallid and cinnamon mutations

Ok so 2 x splits will give you an opaline? Or 2 x visuals will give you opalines. Is it sexlinked like pallids and cinnamons?

2 visual opalines gives you 100% opaline chicks
only males can be split to opaline
