Genetics and gender

Hello I was told I may be able to tell what gender my bird is by the parents. This is what I know about the parents Mom is blue and the dad is olive green which can also produce violet. He has lots of blue in the tail. Any ideas of gender? and what mutation is he the normal green split to blue or would he be the olive green split to blue? I know Cockatiel genetics but not Ringneck

only for sl (sexlinked) mutations in some instances you can tell E.G. Pallid cock x normal hen = 100 Pallid hens, or Lutino cock x Green hen = 100 Lutino hens.

the father of your chick was a GreyGreen (not Olive which is actually two Darkfactors on Green) masking Violet -if he produced violet without the aid of a violet hen.
the mother of your chick was Blue.
Your chick is Green*, split to Blue
You can't nest sex from such a pairing- there are a couple of choices to find out right away...dna or waiting it out

Shey...green or violet green. I'm seeing violet green. It's a shame I can't see the flights. Pretty bird

Could just be the light, but the last pic says reg Green- but just to be sure, I've asked for a better pic of the tail..
