Temperature

Post by IrnZazu » Thu Oct 11, 2018 4:59 pm

I live in Michigan and starting in October we start getting cooler weather (50's). I keep my house at 65 degrees during the fall. We wear hoodies and cover with a small blanket if we are chilly. Once winter hits I do 68 degrees during the day and 65 degrees at night. Is this okay for my IRN? Zazu never looks cold or shivers. When I hold her she is warm to the touch.

Indian Ring necks come from a warm country but the ones that escape thrive in England so the answer is yes, my bird enjoys a warm temp because l like it warm over night 15c and during the day about 24c, 75f,

Thank you for your response. I was really worried. Once winter hits I will raise the house temperature to 70 degrees to make sure she stays warm. Once winter hits it gets really cold. I cover her with a heavy blanket at night.
