I have just picked up a beautiful yellowgirl, coming on to 4 years of age, as a 'rescue' bird. Her owners didn't have the time nor the inclination to spent with her.
I have 4 children and we all love birds. DH tolerates our passion!
We have 2cockatiels already plus ducks and chooks.
I feel this girl is going to r-e-a-l-l-y challenge me!
I am looking forward to a lot of learning.
Cheers

Hi Sonja
I'm from Brisbane as well, although Ipswich area... Welcome to the board...
Ringnecks are very challenging birds, but I think that what makes them so lovable...
I use clicker training with all my birds, and they're all pussycats, except for the Ringneck... I haven't started him, yet, because he's still got problems taking treats... He wants an cuddlde instead.. lol
