thank you Donna & Lauren :)
i love animals and i have ringnecks since 1985, when i was in school.
they are intelligent and lovely birds, but with enough difficult behavior.
my last baby lazaros, stay with me in a cage inside house. every day flies into rooms for excersise. He was born april 1 2007, he was the only hatched from 5 eggs, and this with my help . When he was 20 days old his parents left him in a bad condition, so i handfeeded him. it was very difficult but now he is a excellent and healthy bird.he prefer to stay with us, he feels uncomfortable when is with other ringnecks. Eleven ringies -- I can't imagine (maybe yours are better behaved than my little monster!) Welcome to the flock!

thank you catschair
my ten ringnecks live as pairs have nice behavior, but lazaros 6 months years old who live with me alone is a monster.
ringnecks prefer to live with human but wants a lot of attention and spend many ours with them. in the other side if they live with other birds are more calm and independent but there isnt close relationship with humans.
My lazaros dont want to see other bird and feel very uncomfortable with them, if he could stay all the day in my hands!
