I just purchased a Lutino IR. He is still being weaned and will be ready to picked up in Week or two. Still deciding on a name, I am leaning toward Plato, my granddaughter is leaning toward Tweety, I think that is a little corny. Any suggestions?
Also, I feed the wild birds in my backyard hulled sunflower seeds and occasional dehydrated mealy worms. Can the IR eat mealy worms safely?

I got a lutino recently myself.. his name is Neko but my dad calls him chicken little. First time he saw it he said that's not an IRN that's a chicken!

Re: New owner
I suggest name the bird Plato (who's bird is it, anyway?) and let those who wish call it Tweety as a nickname. I, myself, keep an elderly Canary named Remendado, and sometimes call him Ducky (as in Rubber...) as a term of endearment.

Lucky
Lucky Lutino sounds like a Mafia boss, l think the sky fell on Chicken little, according to the nursery rhyme.
