Hello from Bulgaria

Post by Assen »

Hi to all! I am so glad I found such a forum, dedicated to this amazing bird. My family adopted an indian ringneck 6 months ago and since then I became his favourite. I have started to read a lot about it so I believe I will find great pieces of advise here, since a lot of the members seem to have their birds from a very long time. We also have a dog and now we are in the process of trying to socialise the parrot with the dog (which is not an easy task, since the dog is a ridgeback, a hound, haha).
In the meantime, I am a student and I will soon apply for my Master's in the Netherlands and of course, I am planning to take my parrot with me.
I will try to upload some pictures of Zizitop soon so that you can meet him!
So, for now - that's all! :)

Welcome Assen!

I wish you all the best with your bird AND your dog! :D Please be extra careful with your Ridgeback. I believe he is a sighthound and, as such, he will not be able to resist chasing a fast-moving bird. Don't underestimate his ability to pluck a flying bird right out of the air. Just a word of caution.

Congratulations on being the parrot's favourite! You must be doing something right. 8)
