wow, lucky to get one that's a fresh pick.. mine was already 6 months old when I got him and a bit rattled from being moved around place to place. Found him in a ratty little pet shop that smelled like cat urine.
Despite all that he seemed mentally stable. He's turned out to be a great bird and lots of fun to have.

Welcome Waikare, I got mine straight from the breeder too, it'll be a long lovely journey for you both together which you can enjoy for many years Do keep us posted on how things go

I am waiting for my new bird too, which is to be a companion for the bird I got for my boyfriend last year. The wait is interminable, isn't it?! My new bird should be ready to come home in the next 2 weeks.

Yes the wait is driving me crazy, and the wife is going to kill me when all the stuff I ordered off eBay starts coming threw the mail, funny thing is its for the kids.
