Just a reminder to all members..

Recently, Ive noticed the board looking a little messy with threads belonging to different sections all over the board.
Whilst we do our best to move them accordingly and clean up the forums, please keep in mind that, we are a community and its everyones responsibility to keep our community healthy. An organized forum is a healthy forum! Dont just post your thread anywhere. Its messy and confusing to others. When posting a new thread please post in the fitting sections of the board.

To add another note..
We realise some are new to IRNs and this forum. But please, remember to use the search function as much as possible.. if in doubt or you cannot find an answer to a question. By all means ask. We are seeing alot of the same questions on a daily basis.
Do keep in mind, we are not experts, rather passionate IRN owners. We cannot give veterinary advice. Always seek a vets help.

This would be appreciated by all members.
Thankyou,
Admin Team.

Only cover the cage overnight. Also, fruit alone is not a suitable diet for Indian Ringnecks. There are many websites that outline what to feed them. You need to feed them properly. Would you want to live on fruit alone? Indian Ringnecks need fruit, veggies, seeds and pellets. As well, raw nuts and scrambled eggs are excellent sources of protein. Now, go to an aviary website and read, read, read!

Hello my name is Patti. I am new to this forum and new to owning an IRN. Her name is Zazu, She is DNA sexed. she's about 3-4 months old. My daughter is getting a divorce and was in between houses, so she asked if I could temporarily keep her. By time she could get an apartment it was evident that Zazu was beginning to bond with me. Plus she had to get an apartment and was told by a neighbor that they residents like to keep the building quiet. Well, if Zazu's routine is not kept the same she will let you know it. With my daughter working 3rd shift 36 hrs one week and 48 the next; Zazu's whole routine would be thrown off. So Zazu has become my bird. I knew nothing about IRNs. So I immediately started researching them. I have learned a lot. I have changed somethings that I was not aware of. I joined this forum so I can learn even more. I never thought of owning an IRN, but she has won my heart. Sorry for the long intro.
