My New Baby!!

Post by SarahandEco »

Ok so he's not really a baby...This is Eco. He/She is about 1 year old. I just got him/her yesterday. I am so excited. He/She has adjusted really well. He/She already comes up to me willingly to get out of his/her cage. His/her previous owner must have taken really good care of him/her.

I was very surprised. I was expecting it to take weeks for him/her to let me pick him/her up. Now he/she's a spoiled birdie and squawks when I leave him/her for a few minutes. The people at the pet shop said we need to spend LOTS of time with them the first week or so. He/she just loves all of the attention. He/she's already bonded to me, and when I try to socialize him/her by letting other people hold him/her, s/he just pays attention to me. haha :)

What a cutie! I place my bet that he's a boy. S/he looks like a real sweet ringneck.
