Huby's cousin Hugo the IRN

Post by Huby »

Hugo is my hubby's brother's IRN. He is turning 9 soon. He's a very proud ringneck and preens himself almost nonstop. He was handreared and because of this he is overly friendly to everyone! You can do anything with him. One of his favourite games is for you to pick him up and throw him, and as you throw him (gently of course) he does this awesome little fly about 10 metres away and then comes back for more!! He loves pushing empty coke bottles along the ground and also hogs the mirror!! Here he is! (The flight photos are when he is playing his throw game!)

Thanks everyone!!
Yeah Hugo is gorgeous!! We're going to visit him soon!! He's such a silly parrot, another game we play with him is to pretend he's a buzzer and buzz him on his back! He loves it and makes the cutest noise! He can also talk and make more noises than Huby. My husband taught him to say 'Oh O' whenever he is being naughty!! So now when you catch him doing something he shouldn't (like mating with his seed dish) he goes in the cutest voice 'Oh O'!! It's so beautiful!!

He is beautiful!!!

I really hope Marley ends up being a boy so he gets all those pretty colors. Though if he's a girl that's cool, too... but... the pretty colors!!!

WOW Ive never seen such good shot of the birdies in-flight!

love the green! Cant wait to expand my flock *sigh*! Not as yet but soon!
You should take some more-- you are realy great at catching the 'right' moment!

Makes me sad to think that my babes will never be able to fly like that again :(
Take care of your Birdy and appreciate their flight! And remember to think for them and close the curtains!
