I had just clipped their wings so I always put them in the shower to preen out some, then treat time!

Hope you enjoy! :D

Both your birds are beautiful and the pictures of them in the shower are great. That's awesome that your IRN gets along with your Cockatiel.

Thanks girls!

They are still so deep in love. Baby would die without her, which concerns me because cockatiels usually have a shorter lifespan than ringnecks.

Peaches is Baby's bird I just feed her.

They have been together since they were weeeee babies.

Have you tried a spray bottle? (sure you have but just in case)

Thats how I bathe my babies *if* they skip my morning shower and they like it a lot. The prefer the shower more but a bottle bath they too enjoy.

yes, your right i have tried a spray bottle, she/he always runs away from it. I've also left a bowl filled with water at the bottom of the cage, but pounamu never uses it, she/he insists on trying to have a bath in her/his small water dish when it suits her/him. All she/he manages to get wet is a lil bit of her/his stomach. Lately i've filled the sink up with lukewarm water and splash it over her/him which seems to work but she/he still doesn't like it.
