Yearning for more pics, eh?

Post by Mikaela »

Yesterday in Islamorada.

This is where I go to be very alone. Its called Indian Key. If you want details, google it. Not here to bore you with history lectures. To make a long story short: You can only get there by boat and its 10 miles out in the Atlantic.

oops...wasn't done...
LA freeways are about as close to nature as I have gotten lately. Though I am immensely amused by the crows playing in the birdbath I put outside for the little guys!

fortunately the traffic is usually at a near standstill so you have plenty of time to consult your maps, GPS, call a friend and ask........

 Gets pretty bad in peak hour here in Melbourne. But I just go 'huh?' when I see freeways from LA. Just a few weeks ago our main tunnel in and out of the city was blocked for a few days. Big accident. 2 people died. But could of been alot more. Fireball in the tunnel. Like something out of a movie. Traffic chaos. Mum lives on one side of city and dad lives on the other and works in the city. I'm so relieved one of them wernt driving through it.

That park seat looks like a nice place to chill out from all the city chaos!

All I can say is:

You have to plan your work and work your plan. If you do that very strictly and work hard... anyone can retire well-off by 35.

Anyone. Im not special. I worked my arse off and planned my work and worked my plan not allowing ANYTHING (not even marriage and adopting three children) to stand in my way.

Its out there for all of us... you just got to go get it. Or take it, depending on the hand life deals you. For some, comes easy... others must fight for every penny.

I was the later and thankfully so because it made me who I am today and I like me very much! :D
