Pix show how close I was to loosing Sapphire - and now the cage as it is "Fort Knox".
Thank heavens I was outside filming at the time.

I bought my cage and the spacings about 3/4 inch, but the top where it opens is a gap of about an inch, I noticed after the first week the male can get his head through, so now I have a perch that I fasten to the top to make the gap narrower. Problem solved, will put a picture of the cage when I get my camera sorted.

Think there is something wired strange in their brain. Came home the other day to find Magellan had chewed through the wire holding his cage door shut and was sitting on top of the cats' scratching post (they never use it, so it may have been the safest spot in the house). We have switched to bigger wire now!
