I forgot to post a picture of Jias cage. I've built it myself (with a little help from a friend) and I'm really proud that I managed to do it! :D

I've even built a cage to transport them whenever it's needed but i haven't a pic of it yet. I'll post it when I've taken av pic of it.:D

fantastic ! .. what a cute little baby face and the cage is awesome!

I know your baby will love every minute of its Cage/Mansion, coz Hubby built one almost the spit of yours for our Kai, except the small door is in a different spot .. thats it. Clever You !

That big door, if you leave it open, will become his/her favourite place to perch and chew at, once s/he gets sick of playing around on top.

I can't get over how almost exact our cages are .. lol :D

Mia - yes, you just have to come soon!! :D

Kyria - I always leave the door open whenever I'm in the same room. And how cool that we have almost the same type of cage!!! :D

red192 - We have a same cage that we are going to put out on our big balcony (there are windows allover so if they want to and can handle the not to fly in the windows, they can even stay outside the cage there) but it's 35 cm shorter on the length... :P

Very pretty and eyes so big.

kosejentan,

Your Jia is very pretty. I've never seen eyes so big.

And the cage you built is great. Good work.

When you get the chance would you show a couple of views of the main cage and of the travel cage you mentioned...I'm thinking of building a travel cage too.

Thanks.

Thank you! :D The cage is the main cage. Sure, I want a big "metal-cage" but the costs are too big. Here in Sweden we have rules/laws from the goverment concerning cage-sizes and how to keep birds (animals att all) and the laws tells us to have BIIIG cages! So the cheapest cage is the one you can build your self.

I'll take som pics of the travelcage soon. It's the same style as the cage Jia has so it's nothing special. Not big (it's only for short travels - an hour or so) but it's okey for that. :D

That cage is like a castle. You will have to give us instructions.

It's easy! I just built the sides and the roof seperately... and of course the bottom with a draw (hope you understand what I mean). Then I just put the parts together. If I had a scanner I could have put the pics here but.... well, I hardly used the one I had so I gave it to my father (whitch never uses it).
