Parrot Friendly Room?

Post by OmSeth »

Hello there!

I'm planning on getting new furniture for my bedroom (that's where my birdy stays) and need to make the new room easy to maintain and clean.

Any help is appreciated,
Thank you.

Get the floor wood or with tiles. A carpet floor might be harder to clean the poop up.

Luckliy I got our bird while I have babies. Baby wipes are quite handy for bird owners.

The marine is right about carpet floors. If you cant change it to tiles or parquet, perhaps linoleum would be a cheaper, although less good looking option. Secondly, you'd want to make sure that they cant run under your bed or behind your cupboard and never come out. So you could get one of those beds that doesnt have space under it. Keep the wires out of sight from them, if you can. If you're buying any flowers or plants, check to see if they're poisonous.
