hi
i've just bort a bath for my IRN but can anyone tell me whther i should just leave the bath in his cage with somewater in it for him to so it as he pleases or do i take it out. Also is there anything special to use for the bath or can u just use regular water as i'm affraid he mite get cold
anybody?

If the cage is large enough to have the bath in there all the time, then I would leave it in there. That way your ringie can bathe whenever the moment take them. lol
My birds prefer a spray rather than a bath though. Even on the frosty freezing mornings when I am filling their water bowls, they get excited and bath in the spray drift from the hose. And if it rains.......well, they go absolutely nuts for it regardless of the time of year!
As long as the water is safe to drink then it is safe to use.
You could try making the water slightly warm but my birds seem to prefer "tap temps".
