im just wondering if there is a size difference between different colored IRNs?
i have a pair of blues and they seem to be smaller then my dads pair of greens.

That is a great question, my female Albino appears smaller & 'sleeker' than a green female I used to own, and a blue female I currently own. Inrteresting to hear others' thoughts...

Nope, no size difference at all really. But the species itself does contain smaller sized birds and larger sized birds.

Ideally, the larger the better but its nothing to worry about if you have a smaller bird. You will possibly always have a few birds that are larger than others.

I have owned blues (one famous boy in particular) who ranged from exceptionally large (almost alexandrine hybrid size, but pure IRN) through to skinny little birds that looked like eternal bubs that just wouldnt grow...

Runts is a harsh word, but irn's and alot of other asiatics, but irn in particular, seem quite capable of producing the odd smaller bird here or there if they do all the work as parents themselves.
