hi all,
im needing some advice before our ( australia) breeding season arrives,i have 3 boys and 1 girl young ringnecks living happily together in an aviary, now,i wasnt fussed about breeding them just wanted some pretty birds to enjoy their colours.im worried the female will get aggressive later and harm the boys so should i : put a breeding box in and let her choose a mate but the other 2 birds dont breed? or,
keep them together with no breeding boxes and see how they go? or, is it safer or more harmonious to have 4 males only?..i realize there are always exceptions to the rule but im not familiar with this aspect of keeping them.i would be grateful for your opinions to help me decide whats best.i only want to have the one aviary though.
