Dark eyes and age

I am curious, at what age does the eye of the IRN change from being all dark to having the light circle around it? My new bird is all dark eyes right now, but I wonder when she will change.

Wish i could help i dont think Ami's eyes change till he was bout 6mths or something, i dont think i noticed too much.

Depends on how carefully you look and under what lighting conditions. You'll start to see blue in there after just a few months.

maybe your bird hasnt really been pinning their eyes yet. my new baby almost always has big pupils, but sometimes you can see them pin a little bit and the blue of the iris shows through.
