The time has come for spike to go to his new home

Post by julie »

Spike will be leaving sometime this week to go to my niece who is 10 yrs old. I'm excited that he will be going to a great home but sad that he is leaving. He has learnt to talk already and says hello. I will take some pics of him and post them before he goes.

:( No matter how many times you breed and have babies it's always sad to let them go.

On the good side you will always know where spike is and is being taken care of :)

It was very hard not to keep him :( and I kept making up excuses for him not to go, which in a way was good because im quite confident that he is a hand raised hand tame, well adjusted bird. I'm so glad that I only had one for the first time hand raising actually now that I think of it Mika was here half way too.
