Why does my ringneck scream everytime I hears a weird noise?

My ringneck always squawk when it hears a rustling sound like a bag of chips of if I shake a bottle with liquid inside. I'm not sure if this annoys him but he seems to enjoy it. He then tries to take it away and chews it. I don't know if this is normal. Does this happen to anyone else. It's like if he enjoys the noise but doesn't. I'm confused.

there can be a number of reason why your bird does this.
it could be a learnt behaviour from the breeder.
it could be "I'm hungry and that sounds like your getting me food" .
it could be "what are you doing?"
it could be "are you making that noise?"
it could be "I'm scared of that noise"
are just a few reasons.

yes Parrots chew and chew and chew. I suggest you get some chew toys and foraging toys. look on the internet on how to make them as it easier on the wallet.

My Alexandrine Delfin squawks when he hears us getting his feed ready or if he can hear us in another room. When this happens I talk to Delfin. Delfin has a bad case of "I want what you have"
