How to teach your bird it's name???

Hello everyobdy. As you might already know, I decided to name my bird Aero. I would like to know how do you teach your bird it's name. I read somewhere that you say their name and give them a treat but I'am not so sure. Btw, what do you think of the name?

Name-treat-name-treat-name-treat-etc..... it works for dogs. I think when we like our pet to know it's name, what we really want is the pet to pay attention to us when we say the name. You want to say "Aero" and have Aero look at you, come to you, heed the next thing you have to say. Associating the name with the treat should have this effect.
