puting a male and female together

When can i put my male and female in one cage? We have had the male for 3yrs and the female 3mo. Also the male has lost his fedthers on his chest for about 1.5 years. can anyone help with this. Thanks

My advice to you is to put the hen with the cock and not the other way around as the hen could be agressive in her own terretory . It wont matter when you put them together , but I would watch them carefully for a day or so after they put together , Remember they all fight with each other but if it get serious split them up and put them in seperate cages next to each other for a while , They might bond that way .
