Peanut looseing her tail feathers

she is going through her first molt right now so I hope this is normal she has tail feathers in the middle of her tail but none on the sides and she had a beautiful long tail

They do drop their tail when they moult and start looking very scruffy overnight. It happens quickly. After a few weeks things get back to normal.

Do the new feather itch them, Heeki is a baby and is getting his feather on his head now and is starting to look normal, however he is scratching his head a lot.
I put it down to the new feathers, i know when my hair grows back it itches lol

it would be itchy,if you can get a hold of some aloe vera juice mix it into some water and give him a spray.. Also its a good time for you to give him scratches all over.It will look like dandruff coming of him but thats just the feather shafts coming off which is normal..
