Seed stuck in birdies nose hole....

I have a new ring neck about 2-3 months old.
The problem with my one is that he some how got a little seed stuck in his little nose hole. I don't know how bad this may be and wondering what I should do?

Wow, I wish I knew what to tell you to do about that. When my tiel gets one stuck in his nose I try blowing on his beak to move it. Someone had posted once about it happening to their bird but I don't remember what they said they did. I'm sorry I'm not much help. Will your bird let you hold it and mess with its beak?? Maybe use your fingernail to try to move it out?? I'm sorry, I don't know what advice to offer on this one. :cry:

Well... depending on how badly its stuck you may need the vet to remove it. It can grow fungus, and make your bird sick if its stays there...

I'd try gently to remove it myself first, but if you cant budge it and the bird doesnt remove it with 24 hours... off to the vet with you.
