How old and how long have you had Alex? Mine make a noise late in the afternoon and sometimes early in the morning.

I got mine yesterday and the only noise I have heard from him is LOUD squawking when he was clamped down on my finger when I was moving him from one cage to another. Mine is about 4 months old.

our cages are inside and can be seen from the kitchen , we would whistle tunes and talk to our ringneck while doing stuff in the kitchen . took awhile for him to chatter away and wolf whistle back .

they used to mutter to themselves when covered and when it was quiet in the early morning
