How much sunlight?

My Indianringnecks have their aviary off my lounge windows so although inside pets, they get sunlight everyday and quite alot. When I had them in an inside cage they went out for at least half hour each day if I could (clipped and in the safety of my front courtyard). Dexter my eclectus only just learnt to wear his harness so I try to take him out everyday, although the weather has been blistering cold and wet and wild so he hasn't been out for a while. He has his favorite window cill to spend time on but I believe sun through glass is no good anyway. I would try to give them as much as you can, even if its only a few times a week.
