sexing/feather pulling

Post by jimmyjack »

ive looked at the DNAtest sites. they suggest quickly pulling a feather out. has anyone done this? im quite apprehensive about doing this. do they have to be pulled. could they not just be cut (as with wing clipping)?

suggestions?

They can't just be cut. Pulling a feather is quick, but it is painful. I didn't do it, I just waited until Hane grew his ring. xD

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
