Post by amsirmans »

Has anyone every heard of using cat litter as litter in the bottom of your bird cage? Someone told me it was save to use. Has anyone else ever heard this?

Thanks,

yes, you can with some types, but only with 100% paper litters. and even then it's not really that great, and it may safe you money, but it's harder to clean up.
I don't recommend it.

I use the arm and hammer scoopable for the bottom of the cage as well as for my kitties!

It clumps nice and is easy to clean. The bird cannot get anywhere near it, and has no desire.
