4 tame males - in one cage? Would that work??

Post by BirdLady77 »

Ok...I know I asked a similar question on here not that long ago but if it works, I think this is what I'd like to do....Could I keep 4 tame IRN males in the same cage ...I'd obviously give them daily outside time.???
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

if you have a large cage, with enough food bowls and perches and the males are enough tame and use eachothers... yes you can.
You must have your attention for the first time to see how they are doing
Mainly depends of your birds character

It depends on the size of the cage, and their interaction toward each other, if you see one who likes to chase or bully the other, that will never work..

I would be really careful. I tried keeping two males in the same cage and though they got along great outside the cage, I noticed one starting to attack the other in the cage when they were together. They started off fine, but got testy after a while.

If the cage was really huge, like an aviary, I would say it would work, but a normal indoor cage, I think invites fights.
