runny poos

Post by skibum »

me again...sigh :D

Only a baby and prob normal, so apologies.

Seems perfectly healthy, losing a few feathers - but then has been very hot for a long time now. Otherwise happy, talkative, into everything and sleeping on my other hand. Seems to be eating OK too. Very well in fact.

There is poo in his poos, but often just runny and clear but gooey.
Puts a bit of effort into pooing at times unless on my keyboard when it seems to come very easily!!!

Was wormed and mite dusted when I got him.

Thanks
Stu

Could be his diet, fruits and veggies make poop runny and since it's hot where you are his water intake may be more then normal.

Maybe he's been drinking a lot, since it's so hot? I think pee is coming out the same place. If the colour and consistency is normal, I would just keep and eye on him.

Mine got runny poop when it ate juicy food like fruit and veggie, especially corn, but it turns normal again right after she ate seed, bread and other dry food. Probaly because these food have lots of juice in them, which made their poop gets wet.
