eggs

Post by ~*Gwennie*~ »

so lou loves eggs, i was just wondering how often should he eat them? i've also read it's ok for them to have some of the shell mixed in. I'm weary of it. I am thinking of adding veggies to his eggs now that he like eggs. Thanks! :)

eggs are high in fat. The shell is a good source of calcium. I know for nesting females, it is very very good. Being high in fat i wouldn't feed them too often, but maybe once a month?
P.S. Mine really likes tearing apart hard boiled eggs shell and all.

The vet told me to feed Gilbert hard boiled eggs shell and all every now and then as a good source of calcium. I didnt know they were high in fat. Gilbert is a healthy weight though.
