How I get my bird to eat vegetables

I cook a little brown rice and lentils together, when it's almost cooked through, I add chopped fresh broccoli, a tiny bit of salt and lots of red pepper flakes.
When it's cooked through, I spoon some in his bowl and refrigerate the rest.
He will scarf this up, broccoli and all.

I'll try your recipe for my two. I use lentils too, they love them. But it's always nice to try a new dish for the fids.
