Perches?

Post by Jonathan W »

Hey guys,
I'd just like to quickly ask something; what is the smallest perch diameter and the largest perch diameter an IRN should have?
There's a eucalypt tree in my area that is going to be chopped down next weekend, and I want to retrieve some perches from it :)
Help is much appreciated,
Jono

The best is around 25mm up to about 40mm. The bigger the perch the more chance their droppings foul the perch.

Thanks :) also, do you feel the aviator harness with flight line would be a good idea? (feel no need to start a new topic)

If you can train your bird to wear an aviator harness I think it's a great idea. I have one but haven't succeeded yet. Best to start really early with this.

Depends on the pet store. I have seen them at some. I think I got mine from the Parrot Society. When I did my research, it was by far the most recommended harness. You can make orders from the Parrot Society over the phone.
