Sleeping birds
This may sound a bit stupid but do Indian ringnecks (along with other similar birds) sleep on the perch or in some kind of nest/ box?

Just a "bookworm" (or rather an internetworm?) who has no ringneck(s) but REALLY wants a cobalt or violet

Re: Sleeping birds
all birds will sleep on their perches, but some birds, mainly smaller ones like conures, will sleep in nest boxers or happy huts if they are provided
Re: Sleeping birds
they don't always sleep on their perches i have several irn's that sleep hanging on to the side of their cages the only time they sleep in the nest boxes is during breeding season and some of the males never sleep in them at all so if your not planing on breeding and just have a pet i wouldn't waste the money on a nest box hope this helps mike
Re: Sleeping birds
thanks for the info
