G'day does anybody know what prices violet blues are selling for at the moment in nsw, I may be taking some to the Nowra bird sale. 2015 violet blue cock and hen, 2015 indigo blue, 2015 turquoise pallidino. and a 2 year old violet blue hen that's already a proven breeder and her partner turquoise blue/ pallid/ino.

With the way the market is at the moment prices are way down. For the 2015 violetblues you're looking at $100-120, the indigo you might get $80, the turquoise pallidino might get you $80. For the mature pair you might be looking at $220.

You never know on the day, if someone is after something specific you might do better, but with the market very soft, some breeders are virtually giving them away which isn't helping anyone.
