Hello all
I was wondering what colours would I get if I breed a turquoise blue with a cobalt blue or violet?
The turquoise blue comes from an albino hen and green cock.
I don't know anything about breeding colours so any help would be appreciated thanks

Unsure as the bird is still young and haven't DNA it yet, the breeder seems to think its a cock tho with his 40 years of breeding IRN and the breeding couple that it's come from.

Hi Nathan
your Turquoise Blue bird has to have been bred from a Green/Turquoise X Albino
With this being the case your turquoise blue bird will be a Turquoise Blue /Ino if its a male and a Turquoise Blue if a female
You have a tough decision to make if the turquoise blue is a male .(I would not mind having that problem in my cages)
Turquoise Blue / Ino X Cobalt Blue
Males
12.5% blue
12.5% blue /ino
12.5% D blue
12.5% D blue /ino

Re: What would I get
Thanks Robert,
I am not sure if this would change the out come but I was mistaken with the colours of the parents, the dad is a green and the mum is a blue, would that change any of the out come? Also can some one please explain what is a harlequin colour bird and how they come about?
Cheers
Nathan
