Hi, if I had an Emerald and not much else it would have to be just a Blue to pair it with so half your young would be Emeralds (EmeraldBlues until proven otherwise). If you have other birds to choose or can buy, I would buy another Emerald to breed df Emeralds and EmeraldBlues which would set you up with plenty of Emerald youngsters down the road to sell or trade to build your collection. The other initially expensive option would be to breed it to a Clear Head Clear Tail and breed EmeraldBlue split to CHCT. These are very desirable birds.

Hi Shay

Are you based in Adelaide (if yes then i looked at the same bird!)

I would pair it with either a violet or a cobalt.

Cheers

Hi Shey-Aus
I have attached a pic of a PastelBlue Cleartail cock and an EmeraldTurquoise hen which is a very different green from a wild type green.
Kind regards
Mike
