I recently purchased this pair. The cock bird, I have asked a few other people that have IRN's, and no one can say for sure what they feel this male's color is. The darker coloration on his wings is a grey hue. He has grey feet and grey nails.
The hen, I am leaning towards a Blue Cleartail?
I have no info on the parents of him or the hen.

Hi!!
When I looked up the Id info of the Blue's, I read that the Blue's have black nails..do they have black nails?
This pair did produce for the previos owner, but he did not keep any records of them. He is in a bad spot, suffered a major heart attack and needed to rehome many of his birds.

Yes I did see that the nails are clear.
It mite be a way of tell if a bird is split for something.
When kakarikes have clear toe nails it was used to tell that thy where
Split pied.

Re: Color info ID
The lady that "prepared" the birds to be picked up by me thought she would be helpful and cut their wings. I was so upset when I seen that. But they will grow back.
Thanks so much for the input on my birds. It is truly appreciated.
