Here's a Puzzle.

I show you 3 pics of a pair and their young. (not my birds)
Pics are not the best (that's the fun part) so try and figure out what the parent's mutations are and the young also.
Hint: male does not have black flight feathers. & pay attention to offspring / ratio.

looking at the offspring the father could be a mauve?
but where did the blue baby come from

so no blue baby in the pic, should have picked it up earlier by the eyes, it's the mother the "blue" bird

If you only had a mauve & paired to anything other then mauve you'll get cobalts (blue looking birds) also

How about the father is a mauve and the mother is a cobalt ?
and all the babies are mauve ?

Two of the babies resemble VioletBlue pallids to me. Although I guess it could be the lighting.
I am owned by my birds...and I wouldn't have it any other way :D
