Send me the pic and i will post it for you. Size doesn't matter. Bigger resolution is prefered.

Hi J.S
I have had no histology until last year when I paired it to a cinnamon dom edge however it produced 2 chicks one been albino and the other lutino unfortunately the albino died and the lutino was left however the lutino now is showing signs of the cock where a tinge of green is on its forehead and the remainder of the bird is lutino with a dom edge. I have seen other cobalt greys but this resembles them not as this bird has black flights and tail and the rump is blackish to grey just the head is blue and the remainder is grey to blackish
Tks

I thought ino would mask edge. Also, if the ino is a hen, which she most probably is, she will not inherit edge from her mother. Did you have the ino sexed? I agree with Molosus, it still sounds like cobalt grey.

Hi
Molossus I will defiantly post them during the course of this week as the misty and cobalt grey is at a partner aviaries thus give me some time to get them developed.
The Misty factor mixed with other mutation does it cause peculate looking bird have you a chance to see that happen within your flock of misty birds. Something strange is that misty mutation

Hi
Thanks for that, I think the bigger question is what is the acute distinction of a slaty? How do we id the bird and how does one achieve the best of it

I do not know the answers to your questions, but I believe there are topics on the mutation in this forum. It was determined to be a dominant mutation in California. I know a breeder that breeds them in Florida as well. I'm not saying that I am correct with my slatey guess, but I only see evidence of blue and gray in the photo and not the usual green hues that are in a turquoise/parblue.
